Went along to the Emirates yesterday to support the Arsenal; not a great game but it did allow the boys to get some confidence back. New signings look good, but don’t expect too much this season. By the way; what a great stadium it is …..

Jamming in Crouch End

After a few months away, I managed to get to the Moors Bar Thursday Night Blues Jam; with Mick up from Bristol it was the perfect excuse to shake off the work 5 a side fatigue and feel that blister on my finger again!! Good to see Mick again and the Blues Jam was as friendly and as fun as I remember. Check it out if you can; and from what he was saying The Mick Webb Band is a step closer, more news on that to come!

Theatre and Dad …….

Sorry I’ve been a bit tardy on the old blog front; but work and stuff, you know how it is.  Earlier this month me and Mrs M saw the absolutely amazing Yes, Prime Minister   at the charming Apollo Theatre.  It’s a bit more edgy than the BBC sitcom and brought beautifully up to date, catch it while you still can.  We’ve also been to see Dad and Joyce in Walton, the Essex Riviera – great to see them and great memories of the traditional British seaside during the summer.
